AEEE conducted webinar on ”Challenges in ECBC Implementations in India” 11th September. The webinar provided insights into key issues that needs to be addressed for implementing Energy Conservation Building Code(ECBC). ECBC provides the minimum performance standards for a building’s energy efficiency, which cover building envelope, HVAC, interior and exterior lighting and electrical power and motors. It is said that 70% of buildings which will exist in India in 2030 are yet to be built -a large majority of these will be conditioned.
