Srishti Sharma is a young energy professional working as a Research Associate in the Buildings and Communities vertical of AEEE. Her work is focused towards evidence based-policy research in energy intensive and impact driven areas such as appliance and building energy efficiency, energy access, identification & deployment of scalable refrigeration-cooling solutions for rural weak-grid communities; for their increased livelihood and enhanced quality of life. She was also the Project Manager for LEED V4 ID+C: Commercial Interiors, an integrated design & retrofit project of AEEE’s New Delhi office.
Prior to joining AEEE, she worked as an Assistant Manager- Research and Policy at Grassroots and Rural Innovative Development (G.R.I.D.), where she was responsible for conducting in-depth research, creation of detailed project reports, etc. related to various solar-powered projects in the rural communities. She had been associated with organizations such as Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi (IIT-D), Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), Indian Pollution Control Association (IPCA), Forum for Air Quality, Clean Air Asia (CAA) and Skyways Ltd. for short-term projects. Srishti holds her post-graduate degree in M.Sc. Resource Management and Design Application with specialization in Environment Management and Sustainable Development from Lady Irwin College, Delhi University. Her master’s dissertation was on “Assessment of Perform, Achieve and Trade (PAT) Cycle Implementation on Selected Industries: Prospects and Challenges”
