Saundarya is a seasoned communications professional with expertise in visual and textual storytelling. A former journalist with over seven years of experience in print and digital media, she excels in creating engaging content, strategic communication, and project management.

At AEEE, Saundarya manages content and drives thought leadership to propel climate action through policy and behaviour change.

She forayed into the development sector as Communications Manager at iProbono, a legal aid nonprofit that advocates for equal justice. Before that, she had a long and fruitful association with The Quint, where she led a team of senior copy editors and oversaw international coverage.

She holds a Master’s in English from the University of Delhi and a Postgraduate Diploma in English Journalism from the Asian College of Journalism, Chennai.

Saundarya advocates for gender equality and leverages communication and storytelling to catalyse intersectional social justice. She also has a deep interest in arts and culture.
