    I have completed B.Arch; M.Sc – Sustainable Design and High-Performance Buildings from the University of Sydney, Australia, and have previously worked as a Sustainability Consultant in Australia. I have developed a well-rounded understanding of how to deliver and integrate sustainability across the lifecycle of a project in the residential, commercial, and institutional sectors. Prior to joining AEEE, I have worked with building energy rating systems namely BASIX, NaTHERS, LEED, Green Star, JV3, and NABERS. I approach my work through a lens of creativity and innovation. In my free time, I serve as an education support volunteer for the underprivileged and a mentor for aspirants pursuing higher education abroad.

      Akash Goenka

      Principal Research Associate

      Akash helps turn energy end-use data into workable information, which can support energy & climate policymaking, enable markets, and nudge consumer behaviour. Alongside, Akash leverages his experiences from the development of the India Cooling Action Plan (2019) to support cooling-centric initiatives at AEEE, especially those closely related to national cooling action plans. He is a mechanical engineer and has a master’s degree in sustainable energy from Imperial College London. Akash is a quintessential Calcutta boy and enjoys reading, writing, and painting.

        Akhil Singhal

        Principal Research Associate

        Akhil Singhal has 4 years of experience in project implementation and consulting for Energy and Environment and has worked in India and the Netherlands. He is an engineer and completed his Masters in Sustainability Science and Policy from Maastricht University, Netherlands.

        He shares a vast network within the regulatory, academia, and industrial stakeholders and has worked in India, Netherlands, and Thailand. His responsibilities included providing consultancy and advisory for energy efficiency, disaster mitigation, energy auditing, carbon foot-printing, circular economy, and transition strategies.

        He strives to go beyond merely making energy use efficient and ensuring energy access for all, he pursues to derive the socio-economic benefit for the society, enabling communities to become more cohesive and self-reliant.

          Anu Raswant

          Anu Raswant has been working as Executive Secretary to the top management for the past 18+ years offering unparalleled personal, administrative & operations support to senior level executives and high profile individuals & corporate. She has a rich experience in managing the smooth operations for the top management.

          She has graduated in B.Com from Delhi University and has also attained PG Diploma in HR from MIT University, Pune.

          In her previous engagements she has worked with development sector organisations and corporate organisations. Her last engagement was with Select CITYWALK Mall, wherein she provided the secretarial assistance to the Chairman of Select Group.

            Arzoo Kumari

            Research Associate

            I have completed my Bachelors in Planning from School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi. As part of my compulsory internship, I have worked with various organizations like Smart City India Foundation (SCIF), Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Gwalior Municipal Corporation, etc. With the help of all these experiences and support, I have won National Level competitions in Planning (NOSPlan) and also the prestigious Apoorva Rustagi Scholarship Award for women in Planning 2020. My interest lies in policy analysis, social development, and governance.

            Bhairav Sharma

            At AEEE, I have been involved in the administrative framework from the last 12+ years including Industry Membership collaboration in the Energy Efficiency sector, Training/Events program, and Outreach activities. I am a nodal point for supporting the planning and managing the execution of various Workshops and Training & Capacity Building programs of AEEE in the Energy Efficiency domain, including AEEE’s Annual Conclave, Flagship Events, and Members Networking Meet. in addition to managing the AEEE master database in various domains of Energy Efficiency across the globe. I also providing cross-functional support internally to other divisions at AEEE as well as to external Members and Stakeholders in organizing and managing various Webinars, Workshops and Outreach Events through various digital platforms.

            Coordinating with Measurement & Verification (M&V) professionals to organizing M&V and International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol (IPMVP) training and Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP) certification program in India from last 12 years. Past CMVP Local board member in India. Bhairav holds an Economics degree from IGNOU.


              Dharini Sridharan

              Dharini Sridharan is an Architect by graduation and further pursued her Master of technology in Building Energy Performance at CEPT University, Gujarat. She has worked with CEPT University as Academic Associate and has a strong foundation in Building Physics. In addition to her experience as an Architect, she has hands on experience in working on various projects pursuing green building rating systems like LEED, IGBC and GRIHA. She is a LEED Green Associate. Her passion is to contribute to a healthy built environment for the future generations and provide quality living experience to people using built environment as a tool. Her broader interests lie in making better buildings, research and policy level implementation at a large scale.

                Gerry George

                Principal Research Associate

                Gerry George is a young energy professional with subject matter expertise to seamlessly work on AEEE priorities with reasonable autonomy. He currently works as a senior research associate in AEEE focusing on high-impact and emerging areas like space cooling in buildings, appliance efficiency and energy efficient (EE) cold-chain in India. His work areas include facilitating data-driven and evidence-based energy efficiency policies, leveraging industry leadership to scale up the deployment of EE technologies and impacting energy security, advancing cost-effective EE practices and technologies for climate protection and better quality of life. He has completed his MTech in Energy Systems from the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun and has prior industry experience where he worked in design and drafting of heat exchangers. He has contributed significantly for AEEE’s stewardship and facilitation of the landmark India Cooling Action Plan.

                  Hardeep Kushal

                  Manager – Finance & Admin

                  Hardeep is hard-core finance and management professional with a compliance acumen and brings in immense 21 + yrs. of experience. His diverse background includes Finance, CSR grant management, Legal & Statutory Compliance, Accounts & Taxation, Operational Management, investment planning, the conceptualization of policy framework & internal/ external controls, including audits/fraud & risk management. Hardeep also has the strategic experience, which includes vital aspects of human resource management.

                  He holds a management degree of MBA-Finance with diverse exposure of working in both commercial and development sectors. He has held prominent leadership positions as lead finance & Compliance in his previous organizations.

                  He has a collaborative leadership approach and possesses strong communication & people management skills. He is an able leader, a keen analyst, and an effective team player.

                  Hardeep plays a vital role in formulating and implementing annual action plans, preparing annual budgets, with flexibility and willingness to work in other operation areas, strategic planning for improving the system with available resources, and contributing to the organization’s overall growth and development.

                    Ishita Sachdeva

                    Ms. Ishita Sachdeva is a post graduate in Environmental Economics and presently a Ph.D Candidate at University of Delhi. Ishita has a vast research experience on the subjects of Sustainable Development, Climate Change, Agriculture, Buildings, Clean Energy, Energy Efficiency and Health. Her doctoral thesis is broadly focused on the evaluation of India’s ongoing policies on Energy Conservation, Energy Efficiency and Clean Cooking. During her professional journey, she has worked at length with policy think tanks, governmental and academic institutions.
                    Ishita aspires to work in areas relevant to the implementation and evaluation of Energy Efficiency as a catalyst solution across sectors that corroborates the achievement of India’s commitments under Paris Agreement.

                      Jayanta Chaudhuri

                      Director- Marketing, Alliances and Partnerships

                      Jayanta Chaudhuri is a sales and marketing professional with over twenty five years’ experience in business development, key account management, and alliances. At AEEE, he heads the marketing, membership, training, alliances & partnership functions.

                      In his previous roles, Jayanta led high performance teams and businesses for Moser Baer, Onmobile Global (as Account Director for Vodafone India, developing and driving their growth of value-added services across the data, voice and messaging platforms), Nokia and Microsoft (for both, he headed their device-led enterprise mobility solutions business in West India, services and alliances with Indian telcos). Before joining AEEE, he worked with The Times Group, where he was the National Business Head for consumer durables and telecom verticals, responsible for integrated media solutions across traditional and new age media.
                      Having handled strategic portfolios across diverse products and services, and geographies, Jayanta is a keen enterprise-relationship enabler. A serious runner who draws life’s lessons from running, he believes in team spirit, team work and in building self-sustained communities.

                      Jayanta is a Physics graduate from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, and an MBA from FMS Delhi. Present CMVP Local board member in India. Outside of work, he is a prolific traveller and a blogger

                        Khushboo Gupta

                        Senior Research Associate

                        Dr. Khushboo Gupta is presently working as a Senior Research Associate at AEEE. Before AEEE, she was associated with the National Institute of Urban Affairs and worked on projects related to youth and inclusive cities. She has a Ph.D. in Planning, Governance, and Globalization from the School of Public and International Affairs at Virginia Tech. Her doctoral studies focused on smart city implementation in developing nations. While pursuing her doctorate, Dr. Gupta has worked for the Virginia Tech’s Office of Economic Development, conducting research on topics such as technology adoption and suggesting strategies for place-making projects. She also has a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur.

                          Krishan Sharma

                          Project Coordinator

                          Krishan Sharma has joined AEEE as a project coordinator. He holds a master’s degree in interior design and has worked as a project manager for over 16 years with architectural, engineering & Interior designs firms across India. Krishan has strong knowledge of building construction’s materials and site engineering. He has experience in executing CSR construction projects pan India for many prestigious organizations like Hindustan Times, Union Bank of India and Oriental Bank of Commerce. He has executed the office Interior project for AEEE head office in New Delhi, which holds PLATINUM AWARD in (LEED) green building rating system certification by The U.S. Green Building Council.

                          Currently he is working in the green building sector and conducts site visits to collect data for Building and Communities team for AEEE. His passion lies in the latest advancements in Green building technology. He is preparing simultaneously LEEDS examination also. Krishan strongly believe in making high performance buildings by new innovations in green building technology.


                            Research Associate

                            Meghaa has joined as a Research Associate and will be working with the State & Local Actions and Energy Data Services teams.

                            Meghaa has a background in economics having completed her master’s degree, focused in environmental and resource economics, from TERI School of Advanced Studies.
                            Her experience includes working on research reports in the clean energy and mobility space, covering various aspects of the energy transition, renewable energy value chains, as well as applications of cleaner fuel sources.

                            Throughout her academic and professional life, she has fostered an interdisciplinary approach in understanding complex development challenges and delving into exploring solutions through research.
                            She aims to apply herself in working towards the facilitation of an energy-efficient economy.

                            Her interests also include reading, solving puzzles, attempting to play musical instruments, and brewing coffee.


                              Project Associate

                              I hold a degree in Mechanical & Automation Engineering and have worked with “Ant Studio” and has experience designing passive cooling systems for buildings. I have worked closely with the manufacturing and design team to develop new prototypes for the passive cooling systems and further performed CFD (Computational-Fluid-Dynamics) analysis on them to analyse different parameters in a computer-simulated environment. I have also worked closely in mapping the LCA (Life-Cycle-Analysis), carbon footprint and overall environmental impact of the passive cooling systems. I have worked towards empowering the lives of the local terracotta artist in and around the NCR region by creating opportunities for them to integrate terracotta-based cooling products and making those a part of the building’s supply chain. Before this, I have worked in operation and sales.”

                                Priyami Dutta

                                Senior Research Associate

                                I am an Energy Professional with 8 years of experience , both in the public and private sector in the power and utility domain. I started my career with Assam Power Distribution Company Limited that gave me a rich exposure to the entire value chain of the power sector.

                                My key areas of skill set range across diverse verticals such as Regulatory matters, techno commercial aspects, renewables, energy management, tariff, power purchase and distribution network management. I served as the Energy Manager for APDCL and was instrumental in implementing various energy efficiency initiatives such as Demand side management, PAT scheme, energy auditing and electric mobility.

                                My long term career vision is to work in energy efficiency solutions and to contribute to climate change mitigation.
                                I completed my B.E in Electrical Engineering from Assam Engineering College in 2011. I am also a Bureau of Energy Efficiency Certified Energy Manager cum Auditor. I also hold a PG Diploma in management from IGNOU.

                                  Rakesh Goswami

                                  Rakesh Goswami is a pro-active and result oriented professional with more than 22 years of experience in a wide range of working areas. Being a Chartered Accountant, Rakesh’s extensive work in the development sector has honed him into an authority on financial compliances, NGO management, and CSR laws. With his knowledge of financial accounting, strategy, planning, budgeting, along with his expertise in taxation, internal auditing, statutory compliance, liaising administration – Rakesh leads by example.
                                  Rakesh is a problem-solver, who can handle any crisis confidently, with a cool head. His acumen for financial and legal matters, management of working capital, NGOs, human resources, and client relationship make him a multi-tasker. He possesses extensive experience in offering legal advice to corporates on various matters, including setting up offices of foreign companies and NGOs in India, drafting agreements and other business documents, foreign exchange-related activities, and obtaining government approvals.

                                  Sangeeta Mathew

                                  Program Lead

                                  Sangeeta leads the team for Energy Data Services and State and Local Actions. She leads efforts for the publication of the annual State Energy Efficiency Index to evaluate states on their energy efficiency efforts and achievements across all demand sectors, as well as efforts to support states with energy efficiency policy formulation and implementation. Her work includes the development of energy data frameworks and increasing visibility and awareness of end-use energy consumption. Sangeeta’s work in super-efficient appliances is aimed at coupling energy efficiency with distributed RE to improve rural livelihoods.

                                  Prior to joining AEEE, Sangeeta worked in Information and Communications Technology for 20 years, during which she developed network products and operational support systems, and performed data analytics to improve efficiency in network repair and customer support.

                                  Sangeeta holds a B.E. in Electronics and Communication from Manipal Institute of Technology and an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

                                    Sanjay Chaurasia

                                    Dy Manager – Graphics & DTP Designer

                                    Sanjay Chaurasia is senior graphics designer cum visual story teller at AEEE. He comes with more than 8 years of experience in the field of graphic designer. After his graduation in arts he completed his certification in Multimedia from Arena Multimedia to hone his designing skills. Sanjay’s work at AEEE is to standardise as well as optimise the company’s internal and external communication collaterals including company branding, brochure design, reports and digital media infographics. Prior to this, Sanjay has worked in some reputed publishing companies as a freelancer. Sanjay is a person who believes life is a learning process and is currently picking up website designing skills.

                                      Satish Kumar

                                      President and Executive Director

                                      Dr. Satish Kumar serves as the President and Executive Director of the Alliance for an Energy Efficient Economy (AEEE). Prior to AEEE, he was the Energy Efficiency Ambassador and led the Energy Management business at the Schneider Electric India, a Scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and the Chief of Party for a USAID-supported bilateral energy efficiency technical assistance program (ECO-III) project. He has a Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon and a B. Arch from IIT Roorkee), was nominated for an executive leadership program at Harvard Business School and the University of North Carolina, is a member on the TEAP’s Energy Efficiency Task Force under the Montreal Protocol, is a LEED Fellow (USGBC), Certified Energy Manager and Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (Association of Energy Engineers).

                                        Saumya Tiwari

                                        Saumya is a Strategy & Communications professional with rich experience in handling public relations, government advocacy, strategy, corporate communication and corporate communication for government, corporate and multilateral organizations.

                                        Prior to joining AEEE, Saumya was leading transformation initiatives for CyanConnode India from the Managing Directors secretariat handling Human Resource, Information and Technology and Project Management for ongoing projects. Saumya has also worked as communication and outreach manager part of the Strategic Coordination Cell with Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) and was directly managing the office of the Executive Vice Chairperson (EESL), Managing Director and Executive Directors. She was part of the core team that launched several low carbon growth programmes across multiple states in India and lead large scale events like INSPIRE. She was also deputed to Republic of Maldives to provide support in developing the states communication plan, project implementation and business development. She has worked extensively with leading PR agencies with clients such as Hindustan Uniliver, World Vison India, Monsanto and Government of Ontario amongst others. Saumya has also been recognized as 30 under 30 a list of promising professionals in the field by Godrej PR moments. Saumya also conducts sessions on corporate communication and public relations in MDI Gurgaon to share practical experience with young professionals.

                                        Saumya hold a Master’s degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communication from St. Xaviers Institute, Mumbai and a Bachelor(Hons) in Journalism along with an LL.B.

                                          Shatakshi Suman

                                          Architect with 8+ years’ experience in the field of energy-efficient building design and sustainable construction. PGD in Environmental Law and Urban Management and a Diploma in Housing Law. Worked towards Energy efficiency building code development, policy framework and its implementation in India. Passive design strategies, daylighting, building energy simulation, and envelope design optimization is her area of expertise.

                                            Shirish Bhardwaj

                                            Research Associate

                                            Shirish is a young professional working as a Consultant (Research Analyst) with AEEE’s Industrial Energy Efficiency division. He works in the field of Industrial Energy Efficiency and Energy Analysis and has worked with Thermax Limited for 1.3 years in a solar thermal power plant as a field engineer. Also, while working with TERI School of Advanced Studies, he has done a project on estimating the potential of CO2 reduction, at the national level, by application of reflective film on the glasses of a vehicle and another project on estimating the IPPU emissions from various industrials sectors. He holds a postgraduate degree in Renewable Energy Engineering and Management from the TERI School of advanced studies and an undergraduate degree in Mechanical engineering. His interest area includes industrial decarbonization through material efficiency and energy efficiency. Apart from this he is also good at sports and had played Cricket up to state level.

                                              Simrat Kaur

                                              Senior Research Associate

                                              Simrat works as an energy economist in the ‘Buildings and Communities’ vertical of AEEE. With proficiency in the economic appraisal and valuation, and quantitative and qualitative analysis, her key focus area of work is towards facilitating a sustainable cooling future. She holds a Master’s in Environmental Economics and Climate Change from the London School of Economics and Political Science, UK and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics Honors from the Punjabi University, Patiala. For her MSc dissertation, she carried out a research project which looked into the public preferences for setting up a biomass-based power plant to combat the problem of open-field burning in Punjab. Her master’s thesis was published in the peer reviewed journal ‘Biomass and Bioenergy’. She also has a published paper in the journal ‘Punjab: Past and Present’ that delved into the characterization of gender differentials in employment in Punjabi University, Patiala.

                                                Srishti Sharma

                                                Srishti Sharma is a young energy professional working as a Research Associate in the Buildings and Communities vertical of AEEE. Her work is focused towards evidence based-policy research in energy intensive and impact driven areas such as appliance and building energy efficiency, energy access, identification & deployment of scalable refrigeration-cooling solutions for rural weak-grid communities; for their increased livelihood and enhanced quality of life. She was also the Project Manager for LEED V4 ID+C: Commercial Interiors, an integrated design & retrofit project of AEEE’s New Delhi office.
                                                Prior to joining AEEE, she worked as an Assistant Manager- Research and Policy at Grassroots and Rural Innovative Development (G.R.I.D.), where she was responsible for conducting in-depth research, creation of detailed project reports, etc. related to various solar-powered projects in the rural communities. She had been associated with organizations such as Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi (IIT-D), Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), Indian Pollution Control Association (IPCA), Forum for Air Quality, Clean Air Asia (CAA) and Skyways Ltd. for short-term projects.  Srishti holds her post-graduate degree in M.Sc. Resource Management and Design Application with specialization in Environment Management and Sustainable Development from Lady Irwin College, Delhi University. Her master’s dissertation was on “Assessment of Perform, Achieve and Trade (PAT) Cycle Implementation on Selected Industries: Prospects and Challenges”

                                                With over 9 years of experience in the field of accounting and finance, Sumit looks after accounting, taxation, and other commercial requirements at AEEE. Prior to joining AEEE in 2015, he worked with IRG Systems South Asia Pvt. Ltd. on USAID’s Energy Conservation Commercialisation Project (ECO-III), Disaster Management Support Project (DMSP), ECO Asia Clean Development and Climate Program and Private Finance Advisory Network (PFAN).

                                                  Swati has over nine years of progressive work experience in developing and implementing successful programmes in the area of international sustainable development. She has an extensive background of working closely with multiple stakeholders particularly in India, Switzerland and UK. She has a firm footing in handling strategic communication, partnerships, business development and knowledge sharing. Previously, she was leading Strategic Partnerships and Business Development for Practical Action. She has in the past worked with UN bodies such as UNITAR and UNESCO in Delhi and Geneva. She holds a Postgraduate degree in International Relations from Geneva School of Diplomacy; a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Jamia Millia Islamia University, and a Bachelor’s Degree from Jesus & Mary College, Delhi University.

                                                    Tarun Garg is presently working as Programme lead at AEEE. He is having a work experience of more than 12 years in leading and managing a portfolio of projects in India, Asia and Africa on building sector (commercial and residential), Green Cooling, Greening of Smart Cities, Industrial Parks and Standard and labelling of appliances. He has done his Masters in Energy and Environment management from IIT Delhi and graduation from Delhi College Engineering in Mechanical stream and done. He is a BEE certified Energy Auditor and a Certified Professional on International Protocol on Measurement and Verification (CMVP).

                                                    Sneha Sachar

                                                    Strategic Advisor

                                                    Sneha is an energy professional with significant experience in energy efficiency, utility DSM, and strategic energy management. She is passionate about developing market transformation strategies that influence how energy decisions are made at micro and macro levels. Prior to joining AEEE, Sneha spent 16 years working in the US, first as a Senior Consultant with a global engineering services firm, and then as a Lead Programme Manager of energy services with one of the largest utilities in North America. Her experience includes strategic planning, development of energy efficiency programmes, advancing integrated energy solutions including renewables, and developing energy roadmaps for public and private entities. Prior to working in the US, Sneha was a practicing architect in New Delhi.

                                                    Sneha has a B.Arch. from Institute of Environmental Design in India, an MBA from University of South Carolina, USA, and a professional certification in Sustainability and Energy Policy from University of California, Berkeley, USA.

                                                      Bhaskar Natarajan

                                                      Senior Advisor

                                                      Bhaskar Natarajan has over twenty-five years of experience in areas related to clean energy, energy efficiency and sustainable development. Bhaskar has managed large programs, working with donor agencies to scope out program goals, and working with multiple stakeholders to deliver results.

                                                      Bhaskar has worked on projects, supported by World Bank, USAID, ADB, UNDP, CIDA, and DFID among others, and has been a part of several official government and industry committees of energy and environment.

                                                      Bhaskar has worked with the Institute of Sustainable Communities (2017-2019), was Deputy Chief of USAID PACE-D Project (2014-2017) and was the Managing Director of C-Quest Capital Green Ventures Private Limited, a subsidiary of C-Quest Capital Inc.

                                                      Prior to this, Bhaskar was the Country Coordinator USAID Eco-Asia Clean Development and Climate Program (January 2008- August 2009), a multi-country program on clean energy, managed by USAID RDMA office, Bangkok.

                                                      Bhaskar also worked as Senior Program Manager, India Canada Environment Facility (April 1998- January 2008). ICEF was a bilateral program of Government of India and Canada, managed through the Canadian High Commission, New Delhi. Bhaskar managed several projects ranging from Can$ 500,000- 1,000,000 over this period.

                                                      Bhaskar was the Director, Energy Management Centre, Ministry of Power, Government of India (June 1994- March 1998). As the national agency for energy efficiency in India, EMC launched several programs for energy efficiency.

                                                      Bhaskar has written extensively in national and international publications and is the co-author of ‘Renewable Energy, A Policy Analysis for India’, Tata McGraw Hill, Delhi, 2000

                                                      Bhaskar was Contributing Lead Author for the chapters on Technology Transfer, as a part of the Special Report on Methodological and Technological Issues in Technology Transfer, for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

                                                        Prasad Vaidya

                                                        Senior Advisor

                                                        Prasad Vaidya is the Director of Solar Decathlon India and a Senior Advisor at AEEE. He is a LEED Fellow with 25+ years of experience in energy policy, program development, and net-zero energy building projects in the USA, Korea, the Middle East, and India, on over 150 buildings. He has worked on the implementation of the Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC) and led the development of ECOnirman Whole Building Performance, an energy simulation compliance tool. His experience includes passive solar design at building and urban planning scales, and appropriate construction technologies. He is an Adjunct Professor at Manipal Academy of Higher Education, and a former Professor and Area Chair for Building Energy Performance at CEPT University. He taught graduate-level courses at the University of Minnesota, and continuing education courses as ASHRAE and LEED faculty. He co-authored Fundamentals of Integrated Design for Sustainable Building, published by John Wiley and Sons.

                                                          Prashant Kannujia


                                                          Prashant Kanaujia has joined as a Consultant (Full Time) for cold chain projects, primarily the Good Energy Foundation (GEF) Project, SHEETAL and NCAP.

                                                          Prashant is a Graduate in Agricultural Sciences from B.H.U (2010-2014) and a Post-Graduate in Rural Management from Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) 2014-16 batch. He has 4+ years of experience in agriculture-related projects, in both development and for-profit organizations. His major areas of expertise are in Procurement of agri-commodities, Strategic Sourcing, Vendor Development, Market Intelligence, Cost Optimization, Contract Farming, Inventory & Logistics. He has recently done a pilot project on EV logistics services to small and marginal farmers for transporting their produce to the nearby market. Prashant’s goal is to work diligently in reducing post-harvest food losses by offering appropriate cooling solutions to small and marginal farmers.

                                                          In his free time, he prefers exploring about various start-ups working in the agriculture sector, playing chess, reading novels and spending time with family and friends.

                                                              Arohi Ninad Patil


                                                              Arohi is working as a Consultant with the Power Utility an Electric Mobility team. She has graduated with a Master’s in Climate Change and Sustainability Studies from Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS), Mumbai and a Bachelor’s in Economics from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. She has worked as an EDF Climate Corps Fellow on the transportation project at Amazon India. She has also worked at IORA Ecological Solution Pvt. Ltd. on data collection for projects such as the revision of State Action Plan on Climate Change (SAPCC) and the development of GHG inventory for Maharashtra. Her research interests include renewable energy, electric mobility, innovation systems, climate change, and environmental and energy policy. In her free time, she likes to paint, make beaded jewellery and learn to cook.

                                                                  Alok Pandey


                                                                  Alok has done his Bachelors in Agriculture from Allahabad Agriculture Institute-Deemed University, Naini and MBA (Marketing) from Birla Institute of technology, Mesra Ranchi. He has 18 years of expertise in FPO business ecosystem development, Market linkages for agri input and output, Potato Contract Farming, Buying, Merchandising, Strategic Direct Farm Sourcing, Warehouse Operations Management. Previously he was associated with companies like ‘‘Metro Cash & Carry India’ Reliance Retail Ltd’ TechnoServe India’ FarmLink’ ‘Pick N Serve Foods Pvt Ltd’.

                                                                      Suyashi Srivastava


                                                                      Suyashi Srivastava is a part of the core team that organises Solar Decathlon India. She is working on industry and real estate partnerships along with several technical areas of the competition. Her professional experience includes working as a BIM Architect at SYSTRA MVA and an Energy Analyst at Ecoinch and Ecofirst Services Limited-A TATA Enterprise. She has an M.Tech Degree in Building Energy Performance from CEPT University and is trained to evaluate energy-efficiency measures through analysis and simulations. Her research paper titled ‘Tree Shading Factor as input for thermal model through hemispherical photography‘, was published at International Building Performance Simulation Association 2021 – BS2021 conference held at Belgium.

                                                                      An alumni of the U.S. DOE Solar Decathlon Design Challenge 2019, she has served as a Technical Resource Group member for Solar Decathlon India as an expert in water efficiency and net-zero-water design. A LEED Green Associate and an ASHRAE member, she has led both GRIHA & IGBC documentation and certification. Her intent to bridge the gap between the building design and its environmental surroundings drives her career goals.

                                                                          I have completed my M.Tech in Building Energy Performance from CEPT University and B.E in Civil Engineering from MIT Aurangabad. As part of my post-graduation thesis, I worked on “Achieving Net-Zero Energy in High Rise Office Buildings in India and its cost implications”. Prior to joining for masters, I worked in a multi-disciplinary setup, as a Site Engineer, and interior projects as a free-lancer to gain on-field experience. I also worked as a Business Head for the Marathwada region as a channel partner of BASF which deals in Construction Chemicals. I have participated and completed my LEED-Green Associate and IGBC-AP Certifications. 

                                                                              Chandana Sasidharan

                                                                              Principal Research Associate

                                                                              Chandana works in the Power Utility and Electricity Mobility vertical of AEEE as a Senior Research Associate. Her research area is Distributed Energy Resources, focusing on Electric Vehicles, Demand Response, Flexible loads, Energy Storage, Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. She has over 7 years of work experience and is competent in Power System Studies, Data Science and Energy Modelling. 

                                                                              Chandana started her career in the Petrochemical sector at Reliance Industries Limited. Passionate about clean energy, she altered her career path with commitment to work towards sustainable energy transition. Prior to joining AEEE, she was engaged as a Consultant for the Technical Assistance program for Solar Rooftop Deployment and has assisted policy and regulatory framework development. 

                                                                              Chandana holds Masters in Renewable Energy Engineering and Management from TERI School of Advanced Studies, New Delhi and Bachelors in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Government Engineering College, Thrissur. She is an active member of IEEE Power and Energy Society, Transportation Electrification, Block Chain and Smart Grid Community.
