Raj Kumar Verma

Raj Verma is a State Coordinator for Alliance for an Energy Efficient Economy (AEEE). He is having an experience of more than a decade in the sustainability and Energy Efficiency Sector. By academics, he is an Electrical Engineer. He is also a GRIHA Certified Professional (GRIHA CP), IGBC Accredited Professional (IGBC AP) and also empanelled as GreenCo Facilitator from CII. He was also the first member of the first ECBC cell constituted across India, spearheading his services for the implementation of ECBC in the state of Uttar Pradesh. He has also developed energy efficiency and sustainable policies for the states of Haryana, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur, and Tripura. He played a vital role in the notification of the Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC) and its implementation in the states of Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Mizoram and Tripura. He has extensive experience in working with State and Central government agencies. During his tenure, he has organized more than 200 online/offline training programmes and was also a speaker in more than 100 programmes. Worked on many projects for IGBC/GRIHA/GreenCo facilitation of different residential, commercial, metro Stations and factory projects.
