Event Overview

The webinar series will cover critical issues that stakeholders face related to the deployment of EV charging infrastructure including identifying locations of public charging stations, selection of charging infrastructure, and business models. The series will disseminate learnings from USAID’s three-year bilateral assistance programme with the Ministry of Power, Government of India aimed at modernisation of distribution utilities, Smart Power for Advancing Reliability and Connectivity (SPARC).

The South Asia Energy Series is a part of USAID’s Asia EDGE initiative that that works to strengthen energy security and expand access to sustainable and clean energy across in the Indo-Pacific region. This webinar is co-organized by USAID’s South Asia Regional Energy Hub (SAREH) and USAID’s Smart Power for Advancing Reliability and Connectivity (SPARC) initiative in collaboration with Alliance for an Energy Efficient Economy (AEEE).

Who should participate?

Participation is expected from municipalities, power utilities, and state-driven enterprises from the government side, while entrepreneurs, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and allied service providers are expected from the private sector.

The programme is open to all electric mobility enthusiasts and will act as a knowledge sharing forum aimed to benefit the entire South Asia region.
