AEEE in partnership with the Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi is hosting a meeting with Mr David Moore from Opower, the global leader in cloud-based software for the utility industry, on August 19, 2015. He is a Senior Manager – Market Development & Regulatory Affairs at Opower. A brief about Mr. Moore, Opower and AEEE is given below.
AEEE Chairman, Dr. Satish Kumar who has led USAID programmes and is a senior advisor to LBNL, a USDOE lab, would chair the meeting.

David Moore is Senior Manager of Market Development & Regulatory Affairs at Opower, the global leader in cloud-based software for the utility industry. Mr. Moore is responsible for advisory services to existing and potential clients throughout the Asia-Pacific and Japan. Prior to Opower, Mr. Moore served as a Presidential Management Fellow in the U.S. Department of Energy, evaluating and encouraging uptake of DOE-funded innovations in renewable energy and energy efficient technologies. He is a graduate of Wake Forest University and holds a Master’s degree in international economics from The Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).

About AEEE: The Alliance, was launched in 2008, by leading Indian Energy Efficiency (EE) companies convened under USAID-ECO-III project (2007-2011) as the voice of the EE community, companies and practitioners. In the Utilities and Regulatory Sector AEEE, has partnered with American Council for Energy Efficient Economy (ACEEE) to conduct capacity building workshops for Regulatory Authorities, on DSM Evaluation, Measurement and Verifiacation (DSM-EMV), as a initiative to raise the energy distribution efficiencies. AEEE works closely with Utilities to support implementattion of DSM, as well other EE market initiatives.
