Green Vehicle Rating for Two and Three-Wheelers

AEEE has pioneered a program called Green Vehicle Rating (GVR) which is India’s only vehicle rating system based on the environmental performance of vehicles. It serves as a consumer information tool that identifies high to low performing vehicle models in terms of the negative impacts of GHG emissions and criteria pollutants (CO, HC, NOx, PM) released from the tail-pipes. In its current phase, GVR evaluates two-wheeler and three-wheeler ICE models. In the upcoming phase, we intend to include electric technology given the rising uptake of EVs in these segments.
