Arzoo holds an undergraduate degree in Planning from the School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi, where she first got exposure of the impact of the built environment on carbon emissions. She subsequently applied this interest professionally, working on building energy efficiency at the Alliance for an Energy Efficient Economy before pursuing her postgraduate studies at IIT Bombay. Her professional goal is to become a leading expert in the decarbonisation and sustainability of the built environment over the coming decade. After working hours, one may find her mingling with neighbours’ pet, painting, reading fiction, trying to learn new skills to survive adulting, and/or practically anything but social media.
