Rana Veer Pratap Singh

Rana Veer Pratap Singh has expertise in a broad spectrum of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC&R) systems, including building energy efficiency and management, thermal energy storage, passive heating and cooling systems, solar hybrid air conditioning, building energy modeling and simulation, green buildings, and heat and mass transfer. He is an active member of several professional societies, such as ISHRAE, ASHRAE, and IBPSA India.

Prior to this role, he served as an Associate Fellow in the Sustainable Buildings Division at The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI). His academic background includes an M Tech in Energy Engineering and doctoral research from Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur, where he focused on the energy and cost-saving potential of integrating thermal energy storage with various cooling systems.

Singh has earned international recognition, notably representing ISHRAE India in the HVAC World Student Competition at the 21st HVAC and Refrigeration Conference in Sanmenxia, Henan province, China, in 2018. He has authored numerous research articles published in esteemed journals and presented at various conferences. Beyond his profession, he enjoys music, sports and geopolitics.
