Vidyotma Singh

Vidyotma Singh is a policy researcher with academic and professional experience in urban development, climate resilience, and sustainable mobility. She recently completed her Master’s in Public Policy from IIT Delhi, where her postgraduate thesis examined how heatwaves impact everyday mobility and spatial practices in informal settlements of Delhi. During her postgraduate studies, she worked with KPMG on drafting and supporting urban policies for the Government of Jammu and Kashmir, including township, land management, housing, and mobility-related frameworks. She also brings grassroots-level experience from her time as a Gandhi Fellow with the Piramal Foundation, where she worked with the Madhya Pradesh State Education Department on school improvement initiatives. Vidyotma holds a Bachelor’s degree in Planning from NIT Bhopal, with a strong academic foundation in spatial analysis and transportation studies. Beyond work, she loves sports like badminton, volleyball, and swimming, and cherishes good food, music, and books, preferably with a scenic view.
