Kashmeera Patel

Kashmeera patel completed her bachelor’s in Sociology from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, University of Delhi before her keen interest in development issues both local and global led her to pursue master’s in Development Studies from the Institute of Development Studies, UK. Where she focused on issues relating to gender, climate change and urban development. Her master’s dissertation analysed the knowledge politics in the Sundarbans area in light of the debates around conservation and climate change.

Following this she worked with Footprint Global Communications and Weber Shandwick on their social impact advocacy and communication mandates. her responsibilities include content development, client servicing and research and analysis of key issues relevant to clients and community outreach and advocacy. She has a vehement interest in research and content development and have written and ghost written opinion articles for several esteemed columns such as The Hindu, Hindustan Times, The Economic Times, The Indian Express, Down to Earth, Outlook, and much more.
